Current News:

Collections/collecting logs are due during the week of 25 November and can be handed in at any time (Monday through Wednesday).  The 301 lab will be open all day (until 7:30 p.m.) on  26 November and there will be no lecture meeting on 27 November.

NOTE:  The University Administration has, in the past, 'released' faculty and staff during the afternoon of the day before Thanksgiving break.  If this happens this year, we will keep the lab open on the 27th, until 5 p.m., as long as it is in use.  We will also be in place to accept collections (until 5 p.m.) on the 27th, regardless of local administrative actions, if notified (contact Dr. Wilson or Monique Reed) that collections will be handed in during the afternoon.  If the lab is not in use at noon on the 27th and we have no indication that collections are to be handed in during the afternoon of the 27th, then we will shut down operations if the University Administration elects to expand Thanksgiving break this year.

Location for class field trip:  Sec. 501, 502:  "Brazos Co., TX; College Station.  Texas Cooperative Wildlife Collection, T.I. Road, 0.3 road miles S. jct. FM 60."  Then tell *where* you were out there.  Example:  Sec. 501 was West of the building and parking lot--tell how far.
