Threatened: federally listed by U. S. Fish & Wildlife Service as an threatened species

Category 1: plant taxon with enough information available to propose for federal listing by U. S. Fish & Wildlife Service

Category 2: plant taxon under current review for possible federal listing as either endangered or threatened, but U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service is in need of more information

Category 3B: plant taxa that are no longer considered taxonomically valid

Category 3C: no longer under review for possible federal listing; either more abundant or widespread than was previously thought
