Priva lappulacea (L.) Pers. - Cat's-tongue. Present in the Texas flora and known locally as: Velvet bur, cadillo de bolsa, burvervain, cat's-tongue, pegajosa, globito, mozote de gallina, mozote de pollo, cola de alacran (Texas Distribution by vegetation zone).
