Ancistrocactus tobuschii

Ancistrocactus tobuschii is an endangered species protected by the Endangered Species Act of 1973 and is protected by the Lacey Act.  The cactus is found in Texas in the counties around Del Rio.  The population has greatly declined in the last 15 years and now less than 200 individuals are known.
