| Have you ever wanted to know more about the trees, shrubs, and vines in the park? What to call them besides "green"? Monique Reed of the Biology Department at A&M will teach us what they are and how to tell them apart! She'll give a Woody Plant Talk at 7:00 p.m. Thursday, July 28 at the Brazos Valeey Museum of Natural History. Then on Saturday, July 30, she'll give a hands-on walk-and-talk from 8:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the park. Come early and beat the heat! Both events are free and open to everyone. (Children must be accompanied by an adult.) |
